Amped Enduro Rule Book

EBIKE CLASS

Class 1 ebikes only: pedal assist up to 20mph. Class 3 ebikes and any bike equipped with a throttle are not permitted.

REQUIRED SAFETY GEAR

Full-face helmet, kneepads, and gloves are mandatory. All gear must meet current bicycle industry safety standards. Your helmet must be worn at all times while on your bike, including during climbs. Convertible full-face helmets are permitted. Riders without required gear will not be allowed to start.

STAY ON COURSE

Do not cut the course. Cutting the course may result in disqualification.

INJURED RIDER PROTOCOL

If you encounter an injured rider who needs assistance, you must stop and help. If the rider requires medical attention, stay with them. The next rider through must continue riding and immediately notify the first course marshal, volunteer, race official, medical staff, or anyone with a radio they encounter.

TIME CUTOFFS

Failure to complete a stage before the posted time cutoff will result in disqualification. This rule exists to keep the event on schedule, not to make the race harder. There will be ample amount of time to complete all stages.

PASSING ON COURSE

Ride with courtesy. If a rider catches you on a timed stage, yield and let them pass as soon as it is safe to do so.

RACE PLATE

Do not cut, fold, bend, or modify your race plate in any way.

RESPECT THE TRAIL

Do not litter. Dispose of all food wrappers, bottles, and packaging in designated bins at the start / finish or aid station, not on the trail. Leave them better than you found them.

GENERAL CONDUCT

Don't be a dick. Amped Enduro reserves the right to disqualify any rider or refuse entry to anyone, for any reason.
