RACE FORMAT
Enduro is a timed mountain bike format where only specific sections of the course, the stages, count toward your overall time. Everything in between is an untimed transfer you ride at your own pace.
DOWNHILL
Stage 1
Timed Descent
Built for ebikes, the power stage isn't a pure climb or descent. Expect technical ups, downs, and flats all mixed together. It's designed to reward riders who can leverage their bike's capabilities with genuine skill across varied terrain.
WHAT IS A POWER STAGE?
We've cooked up a mouth-watering route. To keep things fair for all, the full course will be announced the day before the event. Here's everything you need to know to prepare.

TIMED STAGES
Stage 4
DOWNHILL
Timed Descent
Transfers between stages are untimed. Take them at a comfortable pace and conserve energy. But keep an eye on the clock, each stage has a cut-off time, and you'll need to roll through before it closes.
When you arrive at a timed stage, take a breather, then start when you're ready. A volunteer will send riders off at 30-second intervals with a countdown. Need more breathing room? You can request up to a 60-second gap. There's no set order, so no pressure to rush to the line.
Logistics & Getting There
Canyon parking is limited, so race headquarters will be located just outside the canyon. Here's how the day flows:
Park At Race HQ
Drive to race headquarters just outside the canyon. Plenty of space here. Please respect the Forest Service's request for us to park outside the canyon.
Check-In
Get your number plate, grab your timing chip, and sort out any last-minute questions with the crew.
Load your bike and hop on the shuttle to the course start. Sit back, save those legs. Again, please respect the Forest Service's request for us to park outside the canyon. Driving yourself to the start of the course will be an automatic disqualification.
Shuttle To The Start
Race & Finish
Pin it through all four stages. When you complete the course, you have two options for getting back to HQ:
- Ride the 7.5-mile road back down to race headquarters
- Jump on a shuttle if your legs have had enough
